Development Officer/Director, Patient Relations


Heather serves as the Director of Patient Relations and manages the Grateful Patient program for the Eye & Ear Foundation. She is responsible for direct major gift fundraising and donor relationship management. Additionally, Heather manages Ophthalmology alumni relationships for the Eye & Ear Foundation and researches, interviews and writes many of the articles for the Foundation’s Sight + Sound Newsletter.

Heather holds a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the University of Pittsburgh. While most recently in a management role at Talbot’s, Heather has an extensive background in Pharmaceutical sales including Bayer, Bristol-Myers and Genzyme. In addition, she has volunteered broadly in Pittsburgh with such notable nonprofits as Cinderella Ball, the Women’s Committee of the Carnegie Museum of Art, Denis Theatre, Easter Seals of Western & Central PA and the Junior League of Pittsburgh. In 2016, Heather was awarded the Anne D. Johnston Award by the Junior League of Pittsburgh which is given in honor of outstanding contribution to the League and the community.
