Heather Chronis Danek is the Director of Development for Individual Giving and Corporate Relationships for the Eye & Ear Foundation at the University of Pittsburgh. A graduate of the University of Pittsburgh, Heather has had a career that has also included sales positions with such companies as Bayer, Genzyme and Roche-Genentech.
In addition, she has a long history of volunteer service to the Pittsburgh community, including the Advisory Board of the Carnegie Museum of Natural History, the Women’s Committee of Carnegie Museum of Art (which included serving as Vice President of the organization and the overall chairman of Carnegie Trees in 2016 and 2017), the Cinderella Women’s Committee where she served as the Ball Chairman for the 2016 Ball, the ARCS Foundation of Pittsburgh, the Board of Directors of Easter Seals of Western and Central PA and, since 1997, as a member of the Junior League of Pittsburgh. In 2016, Heather received the Anne D. Johnston Award from the Junior League of Pittsburgh for outstanding service to the League and the Pittsburgh community.
In April 2018, Heather married Michael V. Danek, a graduate of the Schools of Pharmacy and Law at the University of Pittsburgh, and they reside in Mt. Lebanon.
