Catherine V. Palmer, PhD, CCC-A, has been named Chair of the Department of Communication Science and Disorders in the School of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences at the University of Pittsburgh.
She is thrilled to continue as the Director of Audiology for UPMC. “I am very fortunate to have a fantastic leadership team who support our efforts in UPMC Audiology,” Dr. Palmer said. “Our audiologists are some of the finest clinicians in the country and it is truly my pleasure to work with them and to work with the patients we serve. We are in a really exciting time as we’ve welcomed Dr. Zevallos and benefited from his dedication to innovation and patient care. I look forward to an expanded role in collaborating with our Speech Language Pathologies colleagues at UPMC in my role as the Chair of the Department of Communication Science and Disorders to further expand training opportunities for our MA-SLP students.”
