Anyone, regardless of income level, can play a vital role in supporting the Departments of Ophthalmology and Otolaryngology at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. By doing so, you will help advance research and access to care for all with the ultimate goal of treating and curing people with diseases and disorders of the eye, ear, nose, throat, head and neck. Did you know that is the mission of the Eye & Ear Foundation?
Whether it is your first appointment or your tenth, and you have social media, “check in” to your location. Just doing this will raise awareness. One caveat: it is a common mistake for people to check in to the Eye & Ear Foundation. We are just the fundraising nonprofit; we are definitely not trained to provide patient care! Check into the UPMC Vision Institute, the Eye & Ear Institute, or one of the satellite locations like UPMC Shadyside.
